Once I got the sim card in the right slot and activated, I enjoyed the phone. I liked it even better after I took it to T-moble to get my old number ported. Most exciting, I sent text messages and picture mail for the first time. The phone is easy to use and I look forward to finding many more uses for its applications.
I am a recent consumer of the BlindShhell Classic II. I was not sure it was going to be the answer to my problems, since I have tried other cell phones, and was frustrated. After two days of receipt and connection to my carrier, I was thrilled! Two days and I was using the phone considerably more than I have ever used any other cell phone. Since I am totally blind, my biggest thrill came when I could hang-up on a spam call! Before that, however, I learned how to put in my contacts, download aps, send messages, and now am tackling Googles, “look around”. This phone does not intimidate you, and is so straight forward, what you do not understand you can find in the tutorials in the manual stored in the phone or online. While this innovation seems simple, I would suspect it took a lot of knowledge to create, with much sensitivity for those of us who are visually impaired, to create. I must say, it has been a great experience, and I am looking forward to seeing what else this phone has to offer, as I explore further.

I had an iPhone, and wasn't too keen on the touch screen, as typing on them can be frustrating and time-consuming. I heard about the Blind Shell 2 with the keypad, so I ordered one. The keypad is easy to type on and much more accessible. I enjoy using the Podcast player and listen to my favourite podcasts before getting up in the morning. It's so easy to find what you are looking for both with this and with the YouTube app. Thank you for a wonderful accessible cell phone.
I am new to the BlindShell community and this is my first cell phone ever and my first Venturing into the realm of technology. I'm an older person and found it very confusing and overwhelming to try and figure out what these devices do and if I could even learn how to use them. I was just about to give up technology when I heard about the BlindShell Classic 2 and I am so glad I found out about it. One of the things that really got me to buy it was the fact that everything is done with buttons and you can do so many things by dictating (speech-to-text). Also, the support for this phone is fantastic! This is something I did not find before when I was looking into a computer and etc... This phone has been an absolute miracle for me. It has opened up my world and how can I even begin to say thank you for that! I'm telling everyone I know about this phone, and many of them are buying it. I am so happy!
